What is BODMAS?

BODMAS meaning
When presented with a number sentence containing more than one operation (such as 3 + 4 x 2) the operations cannot be completed from left to right, but instead in their order of “importance”, which is what BODMAS stands for.

BODMAS stands for:

Brackets
Orders
Division/Multiplication
Addition/Subtraction

“Orders” means square roots and indices (which you may know as square numbers, powers or exponents).

Full form of bodmas-

Bodmas rules in maths-

  1. सिम्प्लिफिकेशन के क्वेश्चन  में सबसे पहले लाइन ब्रैकेट  (–)को हल किया जाता है।
  2. उसके बाद सवाल में छोटा कोष्टक/ स्माल bracket ( ) को हल करें।
  3. उसके बाद sums में मंजिला कोष्टक/curly Bracket { } को हल किया जाता है।
  4. इसके बाद सवाल में बड़ा कोष्टक square Bracket [ ]को हल करें।
  5. Bodmas Questions मे of के स्थान पर गुणा करें।
  6. Sums में इसके बाद भाग (division) ÷ solve करें।
  7. भाग करने के बाद हमेशा गुणा multiplication × को solve करें।
  8. Sum गुना के बाद योग addition + को solve करें।
  9.  अंत में अंतर substraction – को solve किया जाता है।
